Delta expands UK sales team

Holiday In Wales Delta Air Lines is expanding its UK sales team with the appointment of four new sales executives.

03 April 2007 Reflecting the company's commitment to maintaining its UK sales success, TradeDoubler, European, based digital marketing specialist, BT, industry heavyweight, Mike Glegg, as UK Sales Director. Based at the company's UK offices in London, Mike's key objectives will be to drive new business across multiple programmes, to further expand the UK sales team, and to build on TradeDoubler's UK achievements to date, which have seen the company ranked as the 24^{th , with an impressive 284% revenue growth over two years.}

Holiday Wales The appointments come as the airline launched its new services from Manchester, Edinburgh, Shannon and Dublin to the USA.

Cottage Holiday In Wales Joining Deltas corporate sales team in Manchester as sales account manager, to support both the existing and new flights in this region is Lisa Aslund. Lisa joins Delta from Worldspan and has more than 15 years experience in the travel industry. Duncan McCubbin also joins Deltas team as a sales manager for the Northern UK. Duncan brings more than 25 years experience within the travel industry to his new role at Delta and has joined the company from the specialist tour operator, Valley Vacations where he was commercial manager.

Caravan Holiday In Wales In Scotland, Peter Divers has joined Deltas UK leisure sales team as a sales account manager from GE. He has previously worked at British Airways, and brings with him 10 years experience in travel industry. Alan Hunter is also joining Deltas corporate sales team in the Scottish region as a sales account manager from American Express. Alans experience in the corporate sales environment and knowledge of the local travel market complement Deltas existing expertise in this region.
