Kids Sea Camp Costa Rica

Kids Sea Camp is proud to announce the first Eco-Adventure in Costa Rica with Bill Beard's Diving and Adventure Travel. This camp is a little different from our other Kids Sea Camp destinations: Because Costa Rica is more then just diving and the ocean, we will also be exploring the rainforest and much more.

Our Kids Sea Camp education director, Katie, just returned from a trip during which she got a chance to explore Costa Rica both above and below the surface. The Aqua Center dive shop was amazing. The staff will take care of everything; you don't even have to worry about your gear. All you have to do is be there on time to dive! The Flamingo Beach Resort has a wonderful beach with a great view of the sunset and a huge pool for plenty of water games. It is a nice start to an exciting vacation.

Katie dived in the Pacific with whitetip reef sharks, manta rays and wonderfully colorful reef fish -- not to mention all the moray eels peeking out from their hiding places. During the surface interval, a couple of spotted dolphins played around the bow of the dive boat. She said the diving and snorkeling there is completely different from in the Caribbean: There are no coral reefs, but there's amazing wildlife to experience.

After spending some time in the water, the rainforest is the next stop. Where are the monkeys? Maybe you'll see one as you zip through the rainforest during our canopy tour or while horseback riding through the forest. Just keep your eyes open for all the wildlife in the forest!
