Great Location for Visiting London

Walter, New York NY 24 Jul 2007 The hotel is approximately half way between the Tower of London/Tower Bridge and Parliment/Westminster Abbey. Our room overlooked the Thames and was very modern and well kept. It is also quite close to Covent Garden. The only negative would be that the bath tub had a glass shower door that only went half way towards the back of the tub. Being a big guy I got the floor outside the tub wet every morning. cottage holiday in wales

Lynda, New York NY 28 Mar 2007 The Swissotel Howard was an amazing place to stay on this, our third, springtime visit to London. It is right across the street from the Temple tube station and since we bought Oyster Cards made travel all over convenient, easy and wonderful. The hotel is right on the Thames and the views are fabulous. Our room was large, the river views spectacular -- everything was just great. The desk easy to work from, bathroom was fine, but the location made this hotel simply the best! camping holiday wales

Big Ben and Westminster Abbey were a fifteen minute walk down the river from the hotel (about one mile); St. Paul s Cathedral and the Globe theater were a twenty minute walk up river; and Trafalgar Square was a fifteen minute walk from the hotel.
