The new infrastructure positions SETAR to offer 'always on' access to wireless data applications like high-speed mobile Web browsing, m-commerce, multimedia messaging, and downloading of large e-mail attachments, music, videos and games.

Nortel Networks and NTU have already demonstrated advanced services over the Wireless Mesh Network solution, including video streaming, Fi voice over IP (Internet Protocol) over while driving at speeds of 50 kilometers per hour. The joint program with NTU will continue to innovate, develop, test and enhance advanced services on the Wireless Mesh Network Solution.

Cottage Holiday In Wales Nortel Networks has implemented a solution for SETAR to evolve its existing Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) wireless network by deploying GPRS technology and platforms enabling Mobile Multimedia Services (MMS) and Wireless Browsing Services (WBS). The new infrastructure positions SETAR to drive new revenue opportunities by offering value-added services.

Plans are already underway to pay tribute to this beloved part of the island's history says the Aruba Tourism Authority.

Caravan Holiday In Wales "Our selection of Nortel Networks for this network upgrade was based on their breadth of experience in deploying GSM/GPRS networks," said Raul Ponson, manager, Technical Sector for SETAR. "Nortel Networks proven GPRS solution positions us to keep operational costs down and leverage our previous investments in bringing sophisticated services to our customers."

MCS "transforms how we work, " says Nortel CTO Greg Mumford. "If networks don't cause transformation in our work and lives, then the networks will not be valuable." That comment has got me thinking not so much about how future networks will be transforming and valuable, but rather how our current wireless networks can be made more valuable by a richer set of data applications. Sure, mail messages, but surely there must be something more compelling for us to do with our mobile data minutes.

Camping Holiday Wales "Nortel Networks has worked closely with SETAR on this latest project to ensure delivery of a secure and scalable infrastructure that can grow to address current and future demand for wireless applications," said Ray Bulengo, sales director, Caribbean Region, Nortel Networks. "Nortel Networks continues to honor its 35-year commitment to Caribbean customers to build advanced networks that can help them deliver sophisticated communications services."
