The videogame industry will once again be under scrutiny. This time, it is due to the trial of a man by the name of Sophear Em, who is charged with the murder of a man during a home invasion in Cecil Hills, Australia.
Em allegedly entered the home of Josef and Marianne Logozzo along with another man back in January of 2004. It is alleged that Em shot Josef Logozzo dead in front of his family and also shot his wife, who was lucky enough to survive the shooting. Em is standing trial the New South Wales Supreme Court and has entered a plea of "not guilty."
The unfortunate series of events will once again cast the gaming industry in the bad light due to the attire of Em and his accomplice during the shootings. According to Prosecutor James Bennett Em and his accomplice were dressed as characters from the game Counter-Strike.
