If you hire a car and explore the region, be sure to visit Javea, in the northern part of the Costa Blanca. The old town is charming, with its small plaðs and web of interesting little alleys. The beach area to the east of Javea is beautiful. Farther inland you£l find the village of Jalon in the middle of the enchanting Jalon Valley. Look out for Jalon Church and the village¯ several excellent bodegas (wine cellars).
