Brrrrrr cool weather necessitated lots of clothing layers especially in the early morning on the water. Some days remained gray and cloudy but no rain fell in Cabo San Lucas. Most days the sun came out brilliantly and warmed the air up quite comfortably. Still, evenings and early morning temperatures in the mid 50's are extremely uncomfortable for locals ... tremendous thanks to VIP guest Steve Hatfield and his daughter Petra of Aurora, Oregon. They fished with us 3 days in December celebrating Petra's 18th birthday. Thanks again Steve for your incredibly kind cold weather clothing gifts. They are really appreciated by our crews when temps get this low.

A wink & a nod to Tina Riccio and Mike Graybill. The retired NFL tackle & his lovely lady successfully released a mess-o-marlin last week and we are looking forward to seeing the video! Check out some photos. http://www.cabomagic.com/Photos.aspx

Fishing - Evidenced by our daily catch report results, some guests managed to stuff some "suerte" into their sox and pockets when packing ... "Suerte" is Spanish for "Luck". When 28 boats get skunked (have no suerte -- no luck) in one weeks time, it's tough to write the weekly summary. We want everyone to catch fish. Our crews really want everyone to catch fish. But sometimes the fish themselves go on vacation ... and this weeks period was one of those times we can only say "That's why it is called fishing, it is not called catching". For those of you whose time on the water was a bit of a disappointment as your results did not produce fish, we again thank you for your kindness in stopping by the office, and for calling, and letting us know our crews worked hard, but there simply were no fish to be found. We invite you to try again ... Cabo San Lucas is a truly magical place and we hope you will return.

It is an honor and a pleasure to welcome all of you aboard. ALL of you are VIPs to us and deserve our acknowledgement and recognition. This is why we proudly post complete daily catch reports identifying everyone. We also respect the privacy of those guests who ask us not to post their names.

We encourage you to do research in preparation for your trip. We respectfully suggest while here on vacation you not do anything you would not do back home. Chartering a boat from someone wandering the marina with a clipboard or looseleaf book filled with boat photos, or from a booth on the dock, can be likened to buying a watch from a man in a trenchcoat. Our booth at the marina is strictly a meeting point for clients that fish with us arriving on Cruise Ship. Our office has been in the same location on Blvd Lazaro Cardenas for over four years. Beware of website businesses that do not maintain offices for you to come to here in Cabo San Lucas.

Think at least twice about something that seems 'too good to be true'. We do not have staff wandering the marina offering to charter Team CABO MAGIC Sportfishing boats for less than advertised on our website. You cannot rent a Hummer for the price of a Volkswagen .. remember "You Get What You Pay For!"

We invite you to look at our VIP Client Letters http://www.cabomagic.com/Letters.aspx sent to us by folks just like you reading this report today, after their Team CABO MAGIC Sportfishing experience. Our office walls are proudly decorated with VIP Client Photos we are happy to receive.

We look forward to welcoming you aboard too. Everyone associated with CABO MAGIC Sportfishing will always do everything possible to make your sportfishing adventure a wonderful experience!
