Control Layer A Feast for the Senses Printer Friendly ?The Big Apple, New York. Just the idea of visiting this city for a sampling of New York Tourism is enough to make one all giddy. There is simply just too much that New York Tourism has to offer that one never really knows where to start. Well, to set you off in the right direction... here are a few New York Tourism visiting tips.

    Save in Cyprus
Two five-star villas with private pools on Cyprus are available at a saving in November from Villa Select (01789-764909; www.villaselect.com). Located on a small and exclusive development two miles from the coast at Coral Bay, near Paphos, both top-of-the-range properties have high-quality furnishings and fittings, ensuite bedrooms, large gardens with swimming pool, terraces and barbecue and private gymnasium. Klio, which sleeps six, is down to 450 per week (saving 145); and Electra, sleeping eight, is now 550 (saving 100). Flights can also be arranged - currently from 229 return from Gatwick

    Christmas shoppers head for Bath
Buy your Christmas presents in Georgian Bath - the city described as 'a joy to shop in' by VisitBritain in a new online campaign to encourage overseas visitors. Just two minutes' walk from Bath's main shopping street, The Francis on the Square Hotel (0870-400 8223; www.thefrancishotel.co.uk) is offering a special dinner, bed and breakfast rate of 65 per person sharing per night (saving 14) and including a complimentary glass of wine and a soothing foot soak. The break is available Sunday-Thursday inclusive throughout November. VisitBritain praises Bath's range of specialist independent shops, mix of contemporary and traditional attractions, and honey-coloured 18th-century crescents and squares.

    Devon delights at a discount
Enjoy glorious South Devon scenery - and a November saving - when you rent a character holiday home from Toad Hall Cottages (08700-777345; www.toadhallcottages.com). Currently available at a 25 per cent discount is a recently-restored farmhouse set in a beautiful valley less than a mile and a half from Bantham, which has a pub and one of the best beaches in the south-west. Greenbank now costs 177 per week where two to four people share (saving 59), or 331 where eight share (saving 110). Blacksmith's Cottage is 200 years old and attached to the former smithy in a tiny hamlet looking across peaceful meadows, a stream and wooded hills two miles from a couple of good pubs at Tuckenhay. The cottage is now 150 for a three-night break where four share (saving 16) or 250 where six share (saving 33).
